Visitor Restrictions Now in Effect

At San Gabriel Valley Medical Center our priority is the safety of our patients and visitors.

The California Department of Public Health has issued an alert due to a severe outbreak of influenza in California. To prevent the spread of influenza, we request that you follow these instructions:

Do not visit if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, or runny nose. Please delay your visit until you are well.

Visitors must be 16 years old or above. Due to the severity of the flu outbreak there will be no exceptions.

Please do not leave children unattended.

No more than two (2) visitors may visit a patient at a time.

Only one (1) visitor may visit an ER patient at a time.

All visitors must wash their hands prior to visiting.

When visiting patients in isolation, visitors must follow isolation precaution guidelines.

Visiting hours are from 9am-9pm.
